Aparagus and chilli oil

Bend the asparagus until they snap, and shave the lower end. Fresh pepper, salt, chilli flakes, oil, and lemon juice.

Griddle until just soft.

[I was bought some wildly out-of-season Peruvian asparagus (no less.) Normal season April to June.]
